display name of the weekday

    how can i display the name of the weekday in the upcoming list view?

    The upcoming list uses the date format specified on Settings > General.

    l, F j, Y

    creates a date that look like this:

    Friday, September 24, 2004

    Hi,

    Either I am too stupid or blind.
    I can’t find the setting Settings > General in my plugin.

    It is not in the plugin, but in the general WordPress dashboard of your site. This is a sitewide setting used by WordPress.
