Display latest post on a non-wordpress page

    I’d like to be able to include the latest post made on the blog on the front page of the site (in this case displaying posts from the “news” section of https://open-space.org.uk).

    The front page is completely separate from the WordPress installation. What is the PHP I need to insert to be able to call the latest post from the front page?
