Display latest gelleries

  • Is there a way to display a list of latest galleries with a thumbnail and link? Either via shortcode or with a function.

    if not, any tip on the WP Query to use?

    I went another way and tried to create an album with all my galleries. And I also set the “Page Link to” in album setting. It works fine for the page with the galery but it does not work fine when using the shortcode for the album on the homepage. The thing that doesn’t work is the URL of albums. For some reason the URL is like this https://mysite.test/blog/demo-post-2/nggallery/album/test-1.

    But it should be: https://mysite.test/galerija/nggallery/album/test-1.

    How can I get this fixed so that it works on homepage? I really need this working.

    FYI, the permalink stucture of the site is set to https://mysite.test/blog/%postname%/

    Hi @jstneti,

    I am sorry to say that we don’t have a feature in NextGen Gallery that’d allow displaying a list of the latest galleries dynamically but, sure – you can use albums to display a manual selection of galleries.

    Unfortunately, we’ve seen this error with the album path being created wrong and our dev team works on a fix.

    I’ll add a note for us to get back to you here with a reply when an update fixing it will be available.

    I am happy to inform you that the album URL issue that you’ve reported here has been solved in NextGen Gallery 3.58 version.
