Display/Hide Past/Futur Event Post in Essential Grid

Hello guys,
I use Essential Grid to display Posts, because it provides huge and cool list of templates. For this part, no pb it’s easy, I’ve retrieved your custom meta “event_begin” added on the Post. I gave it to Essential Grid and now I can display and order by (start) date ASC/DESC the (event) post in the Essential Grid.

I would like to do more, and even if I know it’s maybe not your business (3rd party plugin) I have to ask ??

= Some people, using different “event plugin” were looking how to display only past or futur Post in the Essential Grid, based on custom meta (eg event_begin).
I know your plugin provide this function (display x past or futur event). But I can’t figured out how to make it works with the custom code provide by Essential Grid… Could you please have a look on this ?

Here is a dev. that helps a user achieving this goal with another plugin. The idea is to use the built in fucntion of the plugin, so I was wondering if we could have done the same with your function that display x past or futur event ?
