    Hi ColoursB,
If you are talking about the [shortcode], I’m not sure what you mean by the schedule title. There isn’t really a schedule title. The expectation is for you to add a title with a heading tag right before the [shortcode]. For some examples, see https://shoalsummitsolutions.com/dev/schedule-test/.

In the next release (version 3.0), you will be able to limit the games that are displayed in the [shortcode] and the widget by date. For example, only display the games between date 1 and date 2. Would that work for limiting the number of games?

    Hi Mark,

Sorry, I probably was not making my questions clear. For the widget in the sidebar, right now it shows every game in the schedule like this https://sproing.ca/vernonbmx/wp-content/themes/vernonbmx/images/1.png. I was wondering if we could limit the number of games displayed so that it doesn’t appear as just a massively long list.

As for the schedule itself, I was hoping that there was a way that I could add the game’s title. In example, there are special games such as ‘X Fundraiser Game’, or ‘Tryouts’, etc. Does that make sense? https://sproing.ca/vernonbmx/wp-content/themes/vernonbmx/images/2.png

Okay, I think I get it.

    (a) For the number of games, I was saying that the next version will allow you to set dates from say, 1 April to 17 April, then just your first three games would show. Of course then you’d have to keep updating the dates over the course of the season. What you might like is the NEXT three (say) games from whatever is today’s date? Right? [I could add that, especially if I had some coffee to stay up late. ?? ]

    (b) Why couldn’t you use the ‘Opponent’ field for the event title? Then you’d just have to change the column name ‘Opponent’ to ‘Event’ or whatever. You can do that by either (i) hacking the code or (ii) creating a translation that translates the one word ‘Opponent’ to ‘Title’ in your made up language. This topic has been addressed several times in this forum (and perhaps my Team Rosters formum) and see the FAQs (of both plugins) for more info on translations.

This feature will be in the next release (3.0 coming out this month).
