• Will be having a few pages of reviews and I want small previews (picture and a short text) to be displayed, almost as in a gallery, on the front page.

    How can I do that?

  • Hi there! If your theme allows you to use the block editor on the homepage, there is a gallery block which might suit your purposes:

Alternatively, there may be plugins that are specifically designed for showing reviews/testimonials. One of those might work for you as well:

We may be able to provide more tailored recommendations if you can share more details about your site. For instance, what theme are you using?

Thanks man, yes it can work, but the main problem is, it seems, there is no way to link the gallery pictures to a page on my website, which I find strange.

I am using “affiliate bloglets” theme

The best thing would be to be able to add previews (a picture with a little text snippet) of my pages in a gallery like style on my front page. And when you click on the preview, it takes you to the page.

I tried to use the regular block gallery, and make a link from the picture to a page myself, and it says something is wrong, and it auto correct itself and automatically link to the picture. Cannot be done?

I don’t want to show testinonials, I myself will review stuff, put it on a static pages, and make preview from each page on the front page in form of a grid/gallery/thumbnail thing

Ah yes, I see what you mean. The Gallery block does not yet support linking to other pages. That’s a frequent request though, and it’s possible that’ll be added in the future.

In the meantime, I know that some 3rd party gallery blocks allow you to add a separate link —?I’ve done this before using the CoBlocks galleries:

Thank you, I think I have been able to find a way to make it work with Coblocks

Just curious, which gallery did you use?
