Display full post, not excerpt

    hi,

    maybe I’m missing something, but I’d like to use this plugin to display the full content of a post, not just the excerpt.

    Increasing the excerpt length does not solve my problem, as the excerpt filters out links and other styling. I would like to preserve styling and links.

    Let me know if I’m just missing an option somewhere. Otherwise I would suggest this as a feature for future releases.

  • Yes, this would be a very good feature! And additional an option to disable the title-link to the post. Thanks for the great plugin!

    I’m afraid displaying the post content is more difficult than I envisioned. I’ll circle back to it after giving it more thought. It would almost require a different layout.

    In case it helps: the official “latest post” plugin offers the option to display the post content instead of the excerpt. I’m actually using that at the moment, but I’d like to switch to your plugin because it allows filtering the latest posts by tag.

    @peterdoerrie I took a look at the block. It’ll require a different layout. I have coded up a concept and should be ready hopefully end of this week.

    @peterdoerrie just released 3.3.0. Your feature is in. I imagine you’ll have more requests, but it’s a start. You’ll find it on the top toolbar.
