Display FTP uploaded images in Media Library

I’m developing a Python script to manage the massive uploads of products in a dropshipping shop and thus bypass the limitations of my hosting company.

The product images will be uploaded by FTP to a specific folder: /uploads/catalog1/

How can I make them visible in the media library?
