Display excerpts on a page outside of WordPress?

  • I would like to display the latest 4-5 posts as excerpts on my homepage. My homepage is not in wordpress. How can I do this with WordPress?

    Previously with MT, I would have it generate a new file, and I would just have a php include on the homepage.

    Any help is much appreciated,
