Display excerpt on archive page instead of full content

    Hello,

    I made a custom post type (called Beer Blasts). I am displaying all of the posts on the Beer Blasts archive page, and right now it’s displaying all of the content for each post. I’d like to just display an excerpt. How can I go about doing this?

    I’ve tried adding an excerpt, but it didn’t seem to make a difference. Any pointing in the right direction is appreciated.
