    Respected author,

Thank you for the awesome plugin. Really appreciate your efforts.
I am using the shortcode [ecs-list-events month=’2019-07′ ] to display events whose start date fall in the month of July. But the list shows events which start in the month of June (and end with July).

I want to display the events based on the start date but the shortcode updates the list based on the end date.

Example: I want Event 1 to be displayed in June [ecs-list-events month=’2019-06′ ] but the shortcode displays it in july [ecs-list-events month=’2019-07′ ].

    Events of June:
    Event 1 (June 28 – July 5)
    ——————————–
    Events of July:
    Event 1 (June 28 – July 5)

    Please help!

    Hello!

By default the events are displayed based on the end date, so in this case July 5th. You can change this with the key='start date' option:

    https://eventcalendarnewsletter.com/events-calendar-shortcode-pro-options/#key

Hope that helps, if not let me know!

Thank you for your reply sir. I already tried using key=’start date’. What it does is: (for my above stated example)

It removes Event 1 from July. (That is one part of the solution) but Event 1 does not appear in June.

Thank you and sorry for the trouble.

Thank you so much sir. I figured out what was actually going on. I increased the visible no. of posts by using limit=’20’. Apparently, all the evens were not showing by default for that particular month. Thanks again.
