May your internet isn’t very good at that moment.

For me your website and the first thumbnail is loaded well? Do you use a mobile device or another browser?

No, my internet speed is over 100Mbit/s, that’s not the problem. It is always the first thumbnail of the post image that appears in this big size for a short time when loading the widget. It is reproducible every time I refresh the desktop version of the website on an iMac oder Macbook. On the mobile device it’s ok, because the design looks completely different (responsive). I could send you a video, too, if you’re interested.

We also use iMac and iPad but have no problems for loading your website.

Do you use an Add-blocker? Is there another browser add-in which have a slow down effect for JavaScript. Please do the test and use another browser.

Ok. You can send us a video.

Here is the Link to the short video.

Also with the latest Safari update 16.4.1. the display error is not gone. You just can see the effect, when you deactivate javascript in the settings-security-section: the whole images are loaded in full-size (1200px x 630px), before javascript is make them smaller.

After Updating to version 4.9.15 from May 2nd 2023 (“Fixed Image size”) nothing has changed according to that display Error with Safari. Maybe it`s a bug in Safari? Or is the Category Posts Widget not compatible to some other plugins or the PHP-Version 7.4.33?

For me it works on maxOS and iOS.

I had problems with the cookie banner and need some new page loads?

OK. I will check this without the cookie banner-plugin. At the moment the effect only appears when I’m logged in at WordPress. So then it’s not so important any more. Thanks for your support.

May you find an error in the browser console if you logged on?

    (@radioszene)

Yes, I see following error messages on the Safari “Javascript-Console”:

The Url is not known for me. It says only it doesn’t load the Javascript because it’s http and not over https?

You can deactivate some widgets or change your Theme till you get rid of that messages.

OK, it′s good to know, that it hasn’t anything to do with the Category Posts Widget. Thanks for your help!
