On the footer and header list page, I have 2 items, 1 footer and 1 header. But it shows only 1 item at a time. In addition, under the “Display Rule” column, it shows the message “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    Anybody knows what this is?

    Hi @wzheng163,

Please check by deactivating all of the plugins installed on your site and leave only this plugin and Elementor (because this plugin requires it) active. If it fixes the issue, that means this plugin is not the one causing the issue.

You can then re-activate the plugins back, one by one. When you re-activate a plugin then you get the critical error message again, the plugin you just re-activate is the culprit.

Please let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

I did exactly as you suggested, deactivating all plugins excpet Elementor and Elementor Header & Footer Builder, the issue is still there:

    1. When I clicked “Appearance –> Elementor Header & Footer Builder”, the template list shows only 1 template, even though I have 2 templates.
    2. Under the “Display Rules” column, it is still showing the following: Display: There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Hi Herman,

This issus has gone away now. I made some changes to the Display Rule setting of the templates, and now all 2 templates are showing in the template list, and the previous errors are gone now.

    Thanks,

I suppose that something needs to be changed to the default settings. Otherwise it would have the issues that I experienced.

    Hi @wzheng163,

Honestly, I am still not sure, exactly what caused you were having this issue. However, very pleased to know that it is working as expected now.

I am marking this thread as Resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if there’s anything else related to this plugin, we can help you with.
