Please navigate to the Connections Templates admin page and click the Activate button for the Default Entry Card template.

Then navigate to the Connections Settings admin page and click the Display tab. Scroll to the Result List Action section. Enable the “View All” option.

Navigate to the WordPress Menus admin page and add a Custom Links item to the site’s primary navigation. Visit the Directory page and copy the link from the “View All” action shown above the directory. Paste this link into the Custom Link you added to the site’s primary navigation and save the change to your menus.

Now when you click the new Custom Link item in the site nav, you will be taken to the “View All” page, which will be the list of names. You will see the directory entry detail/profile page when you click a name.

I hope this helps; please let me know.

    That worked thank you.

Is there a way to customize the view on this page:
    https://nb1.134.myftpupload.com/members/name/a-thompson-allen-company/
to eliminate or change the info on the page template?

Also, is there a way to display the image that one of these people use in their profile to create a carousel of work?

RE: Is there a way to customize the view on this page:

Use the Default Entry Card template Customizer.

When you enter the template Customizer, click any entry name in the preview; it does not matter which. The preview will refresh, displaying the entry detail/profile view. You can choose which fields to display.

RE: is there a way to display the image that one of these people use in their profile to create a carousel of work?

Both the bio and notes fields support shortcodes. So you could use any shortcode to display a carousel in those fields.

I hope this helps; please let me know.

Ok that is helpful but the actual profile is taking the page layout of the page I have linked to the view all or members list and I don’t want the same hero and information on that — is there a way to manage that?

Hmmm… Odd. I could have sworn I replied to you days ago… shortly after your initial reply. Apologies! Something must have gone wrong.

Try using the dynamic content [cn-content] shortcode to load the hero content on your page. Here’s the link with details on how to use it.

The first example is what I recommend following:

Create a page with just your hero content, publish it, and note its page ID that WordPress assigns it.

Remove the hero from your directory page and in its place use the [cn-content id=n] shortcode where id is the page ID of the hero content.

I hope this helps; please let me know.

ps. This method may not work if using third-party page builder plugins; learn more:
