Display Entries – Adjust column width?

I would like to narrow the width of the columns being displayed using “Display Entries”. Is there a way to accomplish this using css or other methods? You can see my problem if you take a look at the site. It is too wide for the page. I think if I were able to adjust the width of several of the date and numerical columns then I would be able to fit it all in one page better.
