Display description on the sidebar

Hello everyone and thank you ppl for a great plugin.
Im trying to display the description of images on a sidebar which is loaded from header.php
Im displaying my gallery as an image-browser
would it be somehow possible to call plugin’s BWGViewImage_browser inside my theme’s header.php to get image id and display description?
