display default gallery separate from content div
-
i’ve been trying to figure out how i can display the default wordpress gallery independently of it content div.
i need the content div to be in a fixed position while the gallery of images remains absolute so as to allow the user to scroll through. The problem im finding myself in is that setting the content div position to fixed is automatically affecting the gallery as well, even with the gallery set to absolute.
I wondered if there was a way round this, perhaps by making the gallery automatically display on each page, outside of the content area, and if so how i might go about doing it?
I should also add; i’ve considered blockquoting the text and setting that to fixed but as the site is for someone less experienced with CMS and the internet in general im concerned they might find this somewhat difficult to use and lacking in intuition.
Any help anyone can offer on this would be great.
