Display dashboard widget to those with editor role

I’ve installed the 4.6 update, but the editor remains unable to view the dashboard.

Make sure is not hidden, check the Screen Options. Also note that it’s usually inserted at the end of the screen.

If none of the above applies, then you should start looking for possible errors in PHP error log, debug log file, etc.

Switch to a default theme and disable all other plugins.

Check if the issue remains while switching back to your theme and activating the plugins one by one. You need to check after each step.
