    tried to use on a html block and also a cover block but neither remove from mobile view.

    Here is a debugging step that will help you to resolve the issue.
 
Make sure you are using the latest version of the Spectra 
Regenerate Assets from Spectra admin dashboard
Empty cache and hard reload while on the editor screen. Here’s how: https://share.bsf.io/2NumNvZ2
