    Hello,
I have a problem with a “display condition” function. Before 2 last updates everything was working fine. But after 1.7.4.1 update, condition such as “format” didnt work. I mean here a movie post format. I want to hide some ads on movie post format and show some, on post without movie.
After update all ads showed up.. When I did the new ads, they works only for a moment, then again, function doesnt work, everything was visible.

After last update, I can’t even choose that condition, it doesn’t exist in the options. What may be wrong here?

I love your plugin and need some help, I really care about this function.

I will be grateful for help!
    Thanks,

    Hi crougle,

    thanks for reaching out.

I am surprised that you even see the “format”, because you shouldn’t. Is this the “page format” in WordPress or is that implemented by another plugin?

    Thanks
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
    Thanks for reply.

I mean post format – video in wordpress. Take a look in the picture what I’m talking about:

I installed a new WordPress on a different website, with wordpress theme and your plugin. Now thats option is visible. So I think some plugins make it unvisible on my website.

Why I shouldn’t see that? I really need that option ?? Any possible alternatives? Like I said, I want to hide some ads on posts with video and show some on post without movie. This function works perfectly for that…

    Thanks,
    crougle

    Hi crougle,

    thanks for the details.

This was actually never an intended feature, but I see that using Post Formats can be useful and will readd this in the next update.

For the time being, you can go to advanced-ads/classes/display-conditions.php and change line 98 into the following:

    if ( in_array( $_tax->name, array( 'advanced_ads_groups' ) ) ) {
