    thanks for using MH Newsdesk lite.

    This theme hasn’t been designed to display category descriptions. However, if you’re looking for a magazine / news theme that supports category descriptions out of the box, you could have a look at our popular MH Magazine lite theme.

    Thanks a lot. However, I really like MH Newsdesk. Is it possible to display category description in its pro version, if I should buy it?

    The MH Newsdesk theme hasn’t been designed to display category descriptions. We tried a few variations during the design process and the descriptions just don’t fit in nicely.

    But as mentioned, if your site heavily depends on category descriptions, you could check the MH Magazine lite theme.

    With the premium version of MH Magazine, you can also configure a site quite similar to what you can do with MH Newsdesk (have a look at this demo). We’ve created various other theme demos of MH Magazine as well to show what is possible by adjusting the available features, options and custom widgets of the theme.
