Display cart shipping cost

  • Hi,

    I am building an online store with WordPress and WooCommerce and have come to a problem with the cart shipping cost – I have never worked with WooCommerce before so this is new to me.

    I am attempting to display the cart shipping cost on the cart page as part of the order but cant seem to retrieve this. Is it being displayed on the order review section of the checkout page but I cant see where this is being generated. I can only seem to a slug of the shipping method that is being used.

    The only shipping method that has been enabled and configured in the “Flat rate” and so I would like to retrieve this to display on the front end.

    If anyone could help I would be extremely grateful.

  • I got the same problem. At the cart page shipping won’t work. You have to go to the checkout enter your address, go back to the cart and know you can select the correct shipping type. In my case local pickup or flatrate.

    Okay, found my problem…i just removed the shipping calculator because I thought I won’t need it…

    Enable the shipping calculator for the cart page if you want shipping quotes on cart. It’s in shipping settings.
