Display cart in widget

Is there a way we can display the cart in a widget? I have added a link to the cart page, but if I add the page to display in the widget it doesn’t display just the cart but shows what you are viewing.
Also, the add to cart is not working on a mobile device. You go through the process of adding an item, it won’t display that it has added and when you go to cart page nothing is there.
