I’m trying to update from 1.1.7 to 1.2.0 but it completely breaks the display. Your troubleshooting guide says to contact the theme author, however, my theme doesn’t not have any css which specifically targets the ajax search display. In other words, the new version of the plugin has css which doesn’t work on my site. Note that this was not the case with the previous version of the plugin.

I appreciate the plugin devs need to make significant updates from time to time. I’m a bit disappointed that the update doesn’t work out of the box despite the fact that my theme doesn’t have any code that affects the css/display.

    Thanks

    Hi,
I’m going to fix it for you. What exactly is wrong? I can see following bugs:
    1. Images with empty src attribute
    2. The input with quantity in details box.
    3. Redundant close icon

    Something else?

    Best

Thanks for coming back to me. The site is a test site, so don’t worry about missing images. The other two are a problem, but not a huge one.

The main problems are to do with images being the wrong size, and absolutely positioned. For example, if you search for “fund”, you’ll see that the main image is huge (css missing width:100%; on img). For the three products on the left, the image is showing over the description. Problem is absolute positioning in the css. If you could have a look at fixing those, I’d appreciate it.

Many thanks for your help, and for a great plugin.

    Hi Damian,

Similar issue here. I am using the wcas shortcode in the menu with the plugin Shortcode in Menus.

After updating to 1.2 my site shows the following: On all pages other than WooCommerce related ones the suggestion list’s names go left indented in terms of the whole suggestion line, i.e. the left part of the suggestion text will be covered by the product image.
On WooCommerce related pages (shop, cart, single product) the text remains (correctly) left indented towards the product image’s right edge.

Thank you for an advice. Kind regards.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delayed response

    @mattf10
I hope you have fix it yourself. I can’t see your website because of basic auth. In the next plugin release I will add missing “width:100%” on images. Thanks!

Hi – I have removed basic auth so you can have a look at the absolute positioning. Search for “fund” and you’ll see the images display over the title/description.

    Thanks
