i have a clothing store with different variations and attributes.
    attributes: brand, composition, color, size.
there will be variations for color and size, but not for brand and composition. i want the data for the brand and composition to just be visible without it being clickable from the options. if i uncheck “visible on product page” it doesn’t show what brand it is. if i do check it, i need to select the brand in order to add it to the basket, which i don’t find user friendly if there is only one option to choose from. is there a workaround?
i don’t want it to be displayed in the additional information tab, but next to the variations.

    thanks!

  • Hi,

This is possible if you make the non-variation attributes unavailable for use as variations. I have mocked up a test product to show this. Please review the screenshots below to see more.

In the image above, I created three custom product attributes. “Variations” are marked “Used for variations”. But “Brands” and “Composition” are not. This will allow the system to use only the attributes listed in the “Variations” section to be used. The results of this can be seen in the image below.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions about this process.
