    Hi,

I’ve downloaded the free version of Salon Booking.

I want use it for a salon shop in Europe. In Europe amounts are displayed with a Comma as Decimal separator and a Point as Thousands separator.

In the Salon Booking Settings I have set the Comma as Decimal separator and the Point as Thousands separator. When I go to a Front-end page, for instance for a Service, then all the amounts are still diplayed with a Point as Decimal separator and a Comma as Thousands separator. Also in any outgoing emails the “European” settings are not obeyed.

Does anyone know if it is possible to have all amounts that are displayed on pages and in any outgoing emails to customers use the European way of displayng amounts?

    Thanks for any response!

Any idea why this isn’t working properly? And how to do it right?

    Hi,

    we’ve set these options:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/83i56znuelw6bsd/Screenshot%202020-02-07%2017.27.05.png?dl=0

and on front-end they are applied:

    salonbookingplugin.it/

It can be that they are apllied at the payment section/pages in the Pro-version. But they are not applied when you list the Services that your Salon offers.

    Check out this page:

    https://www.hairartrotterdam.nl/?page_id=156&preview_id=156&preview_nonce=c5741e9580&preview=true

You cab see that the amounts use a Point as Decimal.

In the back-end I have set the same settings you have, check this page:
    https://www.hairartrotterdam.nl/?page_id=220

So, please don’t check the payment section in the pro-version, maybe that can be ok, but I’m not using that.

Try to see what you get when you use the short-code to display Services:
    For exapmple:
    [salon_booking_services styled=true columns=”2″ category=”3″]

When you look at that page from the frontend you will see that a Point is still used while a Comma is set in the back-end. The thing is also that the setting of the Decimal is set at the Payment Tab, so probably it works when doing payments. But I’n not using the Payment module yet. The settings for displaying Decimal sign should be done gobally not only in the payment section.

Also in outgoing mails a point is used and not a comma as set.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I found out that we are both right.

The example that you sent me works fine also with me. In this example you use the shortcode:

    [salon/]

When I use this shortcode then the Decimal sign is displayed correctly in the front-end as selected in the back-end. In my case I use the comma.

But, when you use the shortcode:

    [salon_booking_services styled=true columns=”1″ category=”1″]

(where I use, just for the example, 1 for number of columns and 1 for the category), then the Decimal sign when using a comma is not displayed as how it is set in the back-end.

Please try it out yourself, it will improve your product if it is a bug.
