Display album->Gallery->image configuration

    Question:

    I’d like to be able to have a page display an album with multiple galleries. I’d like to display the album using the Basic Album Extended. This part works no problem.

    When I enter a gallery, I’d like it to display the paginated list of thumbnails (Basic Image List). Again, this work no problem.

    When I click on a thumbnail, I’d like it to show the image, with thumbnails at the bottom of the screen, like the last example on https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-demos/#gallery. This, unfortunately where it’s not working for me. When I click on a thumbnail, it just opens that image up, with no thumbnails at the bottom, no next/previous controls.

    I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but I’m too dumb to figure out what. Any pointers?

    Additional info:

    I assume that it has to do with the Lightbox Effects in ‘Other Options’. However, I can set it to use one of the effects, click save, leave the ‘Other Settings’ page, and return to it to find the setting reset to ‘No lightbox.’

    Probably a plugin or theme conflict. Try deactivating all of them but Nextgen and WP default theme to see if it works.

    It did turn out to be a plugin conflict. It turned out to be NextGEN Gallery Optimizer. Guess it optimizes out the script calls so well that they aren’t even there when you want them.
