• The whole point of creating forms is to gather information from your users who fill out the forms on your website. WPForms Lite doesn’t allow you to view form entries. It’s extremely dishonest as they should not call it lite if it can’t do 1 single thing forms are supposed to do. Apparently, to *VIEW* who filled your forms, you must pay the premium version. They should make that absolutely clear before you invest time and effort in setting up forms, which you can never know who filled.

Of course, there are workarounds (thankfully) but for this devious behaviour I’m uninstalling WPforms and looking for alternatives.

    Hi @dawazote,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, and I’m so sorry to hear that your experience has been less than ideal.

It is, in fact, true that the on-site entry storage feature is only available on paid versions, however, for users who prefer to stick with the free version, it is recommended that they leverage the notifications feature so that entries can be managed via email.

In case it helps, we have more in-depth guidance about configuring notifications here, and if upon testing, it is found that there are delivery issues, the best ways to resolve email delivery issues can be found here.

Also, even if you opt out of using WPForms, you might be able to retrieve data from previous submissions by contacting your site’s hosting provider to ask if they are able to retrieve the undelivered emails through the email logs, just so you can at least have the information.

Again, I’m so sorry that the experience was not up to par, and if you have any additional questions or thoughts that could help us with improving this, be sure to let us know.

    Thanks!
