Discussions settings disappeared from single product admin panel

  • I made an update from 3.8.12.1 to 3.8.14.1 and I just noticed that the Discussions settings dissapeared totally from the product panel. At whitch version was this “feature/bug” implemented (from 3.8.12.1 to 3.8.14.1). I tried a clean install with the same results. Is this setting documented somewhere or is this a “random” feature? How can I fix this?

    Not removed that I was aware of. Have you checked the panel to see if WordPress is displaying it? There is a tab near the top next to the help tab. Click that tab to reveal the panel and make sure discussions are being displayed. I’ll check this on a computer when I get in.

    You are talking about the “Screen options” tab (top far right corner). Yes I searched there and the Discussion doesn’t appear at all :-(, this behaviour feels like there is a special filter function somewhere in the code to hide the “discussion option” from the wpsc-product post type.
