    Worpress 3.4.2
    Latest Vanilla forum.
    Wp is ok
Vanilla is ok and working with the Embed-Friendly theme
    Plugin installed and working.

But, the page of the forum is sadly blank!
i’ve tried to paste the code in the html page, from the plugin

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.mywebsite.com/vanilla/js/embed.js"></script>

    and from the forum itself

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.mywebsite.com/vanilla/plugins/embedvanilla/remote.js"></script>

    Any clue?

i’ve tried lolocally to embed the code generated by the forum (not the one from the plugin) in the head section of an htnl page and it worked.
i still don’t know how to embed in a wp page…

    Ok, found it!

The solution was to copy the second code

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.mywebsite.com/vanilla/plugins/embedvanilla/remote.js"></script>

in the Forum <Embed> Code section in the “forum integration” page of vanilla plugin overwriting the existing code. Now i see the forum!

    Ciao!

I am having the same problem. but I am unclear as to what you are saying to do. do I put this code in the page that is supposed to display the forum or in the wp vannila forum plugin settings page?

also I have my site at https://www.mywebsite.com and my forum at forum.mywebsite.com
how should my embed code look like?

    Thanks

    Never mind. figured it out.

I revised the one in the setting page. it is forum.mywebsite.com/plugins/embedvanilla/remote.js

    Thanks

Im having a problem with this too, nothing wrong with the code. Paste it into the forum wp-page and its blank. So what now ?

Take the embed code from vanilla and paste it into the wordpress plugin.

(Since there is already code in that box in WordPress, we were all befuddled.)

Copy the SSO settings from WordPress and paste them into Vanilla.

    Then it will work.

Vanilla Forums is enjoyable and I have my fingers crossed that it will work well for the long haul. So happy for this integration. Thanks!
