    Hi there,

I am using your plugin to gather ecommerce data in my Google Analytics account. However, I noticed that there are comme discrepancies between what is recorded in analytics and what really happens in WooCommerce.

For example, in WooCommerce I cancelled an order of 40 boxes. However, in Analytics not only is the data still there, but it is now of 80 boxes, so double the amount.

I really need to know how to get correct data from WooCommerce in my analytics account or at least how to correct the data in analytics.

I use Square and bank transfer as payment gateways. Both redirect customers to the built-in WooCommerce thank you page once the transaction is completed.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @kaylynnejohnson.

By default the Google Analytics Integration plugin doesn’t track any actions from a logged in administrator user. This means that any actions done by you, including refunds, won’t be tracked.

If you need better tracking of your orders I’d suggest to have a look at the Google Analytics Pro extension: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-google-analytics-pro/

As far as the duplicate information for the order, what version of Google Analytics Integration are you using? Also, do you have the pixel set up on your site multiple times? Please share your system report with me. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your reply. I am using the version 1.5.1 of your plugin with a global site tag for Google Analytics G4. I also have a UA site tag for the older version of Google Analytics (we are gathering date in both accounts).

I am not confortable sharing my system report here. Do you have an email adresse to which I can forward the info?

    Thanks!

Hi @kaylynnejohnson. If you have a WooCommerce.com account, you can reach out to us from the Support tab to share the system status report by email. Please link to this forum thread as we’ll likely be responding in the thread and not by email.

Great, that’s what I just did. I can’t believe I am the only one experiencing this issue and I trust a solution will be found. Thanks ??
