Discover Card Error Message

Our current settings for accepted cards are Visa, MC & Amex only. Discover is disabled at Authorize.net. Some customers will try to use their Discover card anyway which returns this error message after they submit it: “Payment errors: The configuration with processor is invalid. Call Merchant Service Provider.” After seeing this message, they usually assume something is wrong with our site and abandon checkout. Can this this error message be changed to “Discover cards are not accepted. We accept Visa, MC & Amex. Please resubmit.”
