Discounted product on product page works, adds the price in basket

  • Hi!

    The page I have linked is in hungarian because our english page doesn’t have this feature, but the problem is that I have added some products which are completely free. It says it is free and that there will be 0ft additional price, however when the customer adds it to the cart the original price is there, making it no longer free. So the customer still has to pay for that “Free” product.

    I couldn’t find anyone with a similar problem, but if someone has experienced this what did you do to fix it??

    I’ve checked and seen it works fine on our demo page https://demo.wpclever.net/woobt/product/bought-together-04/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ekhcblts. So, I think have a conflict with another plugin on your site.

    Are you using any plugins for dynamic pricing?

    Hi!

    Not that I am aware of. We have a currency switcher (from EUR to HUF at a fixed price 1 euro=360 HUF) I’m not sure if that would affect it.

    I see it works on your page, for some reason when we go to checkout the price is 0 for us too, but the subtotal is the normal full price.

    Do you think it could be the currency switcher affecting it?

    Because our plugin will change the price of “frequently bought together” products when adding to the cart. So, maybe it conflicts with other plugins which change the product price too (e.g dynamic pricing, use roles base price, currency switcher, etc.).

    Please try to deactivate “currency switcher” then test again.

    Unfortunately we cannot deactivate the currency switcher because our website has both euro and forints, and we don’t want the forint’s price to fluctuate we want it to be at a fixed rate:////
