Discount Value Lost After Saving Order

    First, I really appreciate your awesome plugin. It’s very helpful.

    I found a bug. When I create a new order or edit an existing one, I can add a discount and it gets credited. But when I save the order, the discount value is lost, and only the discount code shows, without the discount being applied.

    Hi there,

    After adding a discount to the order, if you look for the order in the Downloads > Orders list, does the Total column show the correct order total with the discount applied? (Is only the order view/edit screen incorrect?)

    If so, it is likely that the discount is being saved in the order, but that it doesn’t show correctly when viewing the order due to this issue in Easy Digital Downloads: https://github.com/awesomemotive/easy-digital-downloads/issues/9778

    I can’t say for sure, but in this case it is likely that the order is correctly discounted in reporting and the customer’s view, just not when viewing the order individually in the admin. Unfortunately this is a bug outside of our plugin.

    If that’s not the case, please let us know and we’ll look for an alternative solution.
