And is there anyway to keep the original sale price instate of new discounted price (by this plug) in product page?

You will get the discount amount displayed in the subtotal (as shown in the screenshot) only when you use a flat discount and not in percentage or fixed price discounts.

As of now, if we are showing the original price in the cart then in the cart total also the original price will be shown. So we have technical limitations in displaying original prices in the cart and the discount shows in the Cart Totals.
