    Hi,

I set up my discounts using your help. The discounts are showing perfectly on the cart page. However, the checkout page ignores the discounts.

    The website is freshfoodbox.in

If I add three items, I see the 15% discount on cart, but not checkout. Therefore, the final invoice generated is the full 100% without the discount.

    How do I proceed?

    Thanks

    Hi,
Thanks for your query. It sounds like a possible module conflict. A way to test for that, is to deactivate all plugins except Woo and Pricing Deals, and switch to a clean default theme like 2014. Test. If good, add back 1 module, retest. Keep testing until the conflict is identified.
If you’d like 1-on-1 assistance following the test, drop me a line at my support channel https://www.varktech.com/support/ .

    Hi,

I think I found the cause of error.

I had “enable the use of coupons” unchecked in WooCommerce. Checking it seems to have fixed it. Is it necessary to enable coupons for pricing deals to work?

    Hi,
Did you have an error showing in your admin about “enable the use of coupons”? Up til now, that was definitely required.

However, with the new version 1.0.9.0 which came out moments ago, you can elect via a setting to have the discount display directly in the Unit Price. If you elect to show the discount in the Unit Price, “enable the use of coupons” would not be needed.

Yes, I saw that error in my admin. That helped me fix the problem.

I just downloaded the update and elected to show the discount in unit price. It works perfectly. I’ve reverted to show the discount via coupon, since I think it looks better (even though I didn’t want to show the coupon option to the customer).

    Hi,

Sorry, but I just noticed two things with the updated plugin:

    1) When reverting to the default settings (including COUPON DISCOUNT), the discounts don’t seem to work at all – neither on cart, nor on checkout.

    2) The calculation in unit settings is incorrect. I have 3 units of the same item added. However, the discount is offered only on one of them, instead of all three.

Could you link me to the previous version of the plugin so I can replace it while you look into this? The previous one was working fine (with the coupon option).

    Thanks

PS can’t replicate the issue on my test site. Older versions are here:

I just deleted the plugin, downloaded version 1.0.8.9 (which I found from the developers tab), and uploaded and activated it. Works fine now.

Definitely a bug in 1.0.9.0 mate.

    Hi,
I understand that you’re experiencing a problem, but replicating the issue in my test environment is a problem. If you have a mo, skype chat would be very helpful…

Just a general update – @arjwiz and I spent some time together, and saw the issue @arjwiz is having with 1.0.9.0 in realtime. In my own test system, I replicated his rule configuration and purchasing, but the rule worked correctly in both Coupon and Unit Price mode.

So this is still a possible module conflict…

    Hi,
This turned out to be a bug which occurs only in some installations. The new version 1.0.9.1 now up on www.remarpro.com.

Thanks for your help and patience.

    Best,
    Vark
