Discount or Original price

    Hi there,

    We use this plugin as price based table rate i.e if checkout cost below ￡5 shipping = x.

    I want shipping to be calculated on original price not discounted price though.

    Specifically in my case we use a points plugin which customers can use to reduce checkout price but we want the shipping to take the original price not the discounted price when calculating the shipping cost.

    Can you let me know how this can be done or share a hook/function for this?

  • Hi @curtisdigitalstorm, thanks for reaching out to us.

    The shipping price is calculated based on the total amount of the cart. Therefore, WooCommerce and Flexible Shipping won’t calculate the original price, but the discounted. That price is shown as a total to pay, and that’s why shipping price is based on that.
    I am sorry, but unfortunately, there is no function or hook which we could offer you to overwrite it.
