Discount on products with variations

    Hello,

    I’m trying to set up a discount where you buy X and get Y and Z at $5 each.

    I used the product adjustment discount type. For example, I want the discount to work like this: The customer chooses a red, orange or blue t-shirt (product X) and adds it to the cart. Then the second item added to the cart is a hat (the hat is a simple product and product Y). The third item is a choice of white, black, grey, or navy gloves (variable product and product Z).

    So if a red t-shirt, hat, and navy gloves are added to the cart, the hat and gloves should be $5 each and the t-shirt stays at the regular price.

    I got the discount to work if products Y and Z are simple and not variable product. But if product Z is the variable product the discount will auto apply when only Y and Z are in the cart. I need the discount to only apply if 1 t-shirt option, the hat, and one glove option are in the cart

    How can I make a condition where only one variable from X and Y will trigger the discount without making a product combination for each combination available?

    Are you using the Product Combination condition in the Rules(Optional)?

    Hi,

    Is there a way to only allow 1 variation of product Z to have the discount? So if 1 t-shirt option, the hat, and one glove option are in the cart the discount works but if two glove options are in the cart, the discount should not work.

    If 2variants of product Z is in the cart, the discount should work on at least one of the variant?
    Or should not work on both the variants?

    You can also add an extra condition to the Product Z as Product Less than 2.
