Discount Code multiple products

  • I have several discount codes users could enter but they all point to one (the same) down loadable file. How to create several discount codes that applies to several other downloadable files?

    To clarify. We have one main downloadable file and have several sale discounts available at various times of the calendar year but, we’d like to offer the users a discount code they could enter to download a “trail version” (a completely different downloadable file) anytime we make the trial version available.

    Please confirm the below summery which I understand from your input or correct me if there is anything.

    In EDD you have one simple product and it has multiple files to download. Now you want to create a discount code which will apply and user can download the file which is only associated to product discount code. right?

    I have two products which are digital downloads. One product is the full retail version of the product (an App), and the other product is a “Free 30 Day Trial Demo Version” of the product. I have several discount codes that I use ($ % off of retail price) several times a year. It seems to me that I can create many discount codes but all of those codes can only point to one downloadable file. It seems that no matter how many discount codes I create they all can only point to the same file in my other discount codes. I would like to have a separate discount code that downloads my other product, the “Free 30 Day Trial Demo Version” download.

    Hi @0424ftsc

    When you create a discount code in EDD there is a field “Download Requirements”. In that you can select your desired product so discount code only be work on selected download.
