Discord Notification not pushing Featured Image

  • God I feel like I’ve asked this before but when setting up the notification, how do I get it so when the discord notification fires, it will populate the featured image along side the post permalink.

    It was working before but an update just wiped out all my notification settings and I’m trying to remember how they were set up. Right now it’s just showing post title and post permalink

    Does {Post featured image url} do it?

    I would be great if there was a test button that would allow you to push notification tests to an internal web hook bot for testing purposes

    Test button won’t be possible, unfortunately ?? You have to go through the whole process.

    The {post_featured_image_url} will surely do what you want, you’ll just need to pass it in the correct field or in the description, I think Discord will unfurl this image.

    Btw. you are saying that the Notification plugin update wiped out your notifications?

    OK I’ll try that.

    I’m not sure what updated recently, but something wiped out ALL my notification configuration requiring me to redo all my notifications from memory and it’s been a while so I dont remember what I did to get it to work the first time.
