Hello. I’m recently switched to the dark side from wordpress to wix. I’m no longer working with the designed who set me up on wordpress. Apparently, unbeknownst to me she installed Wordfence on my site. For some reason many of my blog posts have a wordfence designation in their URL when viewed on Ahrefs. Even new ones created on the wix platform. I’m trying to find out how to disconnect Wordfence from my URL. No customer service telephone number. My old web designer is out of business.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @manzanitabeach,
Wordfence is a plugin installed in WordPress. You can deactivate it from the WordPress plugins page. Looking at your site right now it doesn’t appear that you have Wordfence installed. Has this issue been resolved already?

If I’ve misunderstood something, perhaps you can provide a screenshot of what you are seeing in Ahrefs so I can understand better. If you don’t want to post it here, email it to [email protected] and mention your username manzanitabeach in the email subject line.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @manzanitabeach

Since we haven’t heard from you for a while I’m going to go ahead and resolve this thread. If you have any other questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to open a new one.

    Thanks.
