Disconnect my wordpress

    Hi all,
    i’m setting up a fresh wp install in multisite mode.

    I use the Disconnect plugin for firefox to see which websites receive infos about my connection as i browse different website.

    I saw that on my fresh install, even with three plugins that are supposed to disable google fonts and google maps, browsing my website is still sending informations to :
    – fonts.googleapis.com
    – gstatic.com
    – gravatar.com

    How can i remove all this reference to make my website free of google and lightweight etc…

  • These reference to fonts , gstatic and gravtar are made by your theme.you need to find out where these references are and comment them out, check in functions.php and header.php files of your theme.

    i know autoptimize has a option to disable loading font from google. gravtar are little icons next to comments. you can disable them by going to Setting->Discussion optins and uncheck Avatar display checkbox on comments.
