Disaster after the version 7 update

    Hi,

    I love your plugin but after the version 7 update many issues appears to my site. The single listing page destroyed. The same with the main page. The only page that I didn’t have problem was the all listing page. I rolled back asap to 6.5.8 version. Really disaster the version 7 update

    Please add a choice to your new version directory builder that we can use our theme single page template as before. The new Directory Builder cause the issues.

    Also I understood that the main issue caused by the 2 sidebars that display to my single page layout. Before the update for my single listing page I used the default sidebar of my theme which is the sidebar that display and on my posts. After the update on directorist single page displays the 2 sidebars together and become the disaster. You must add the choice to disable the directorist sidebar from single page layout.

    I think that this is the big issue. At directory Builder we can not disable the sidebar of directorist.

    Also there is issue with the appearance of the images on [directorist_all_categories] and [directorist_all_locations].

    This is the appearance of my main directory page with 6.5.8 version

    After the update the images have issues. I have and screenshots if you want.

    We are sorry for the trouble. Since the new update brings substantial changes throughout the plugin it would be wise to test it on a staging site first.

    If you run into issues next time then please do take a screenshot of the error and reach out to us immediately. We will be actively monitoring support after the next release. It could be possible that Directorist is conflicting with a 3rd party plugin which is impossible to rectify without the error message.

    We are already working on the issues and a release with the fixes will roll out soon.

    @georgefyro ,would you mind sharing how you did the animation/grid thing on your search filters. I have been planning to customize the way my search bar looks but couldn’t find the option to do it.

    Hi,

    It is not an option on directorist plugin. For this I am using the “WordPress Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate” plugin.

    When I installed it I clicked insert shortcode and then I chose the “Image carousel”. After Ι chose taxonomy and then I clicked Directorist but now doesn’t appear this choice. So you can use the code

    [su_image_carousel source=”taxonomy: at_biz_dir-category/3587,3145,4740,5264,3408,3672,” limit=”100″ crop=”3:2″ columns=”3″ captions=”yes” link=”post” autoplay=”2″]

    The numbers 3587, 3145, 4740 etc are the ID categories numbers that you can find them if you click on Directorist > Categories
