• On one side I welcome a block-oriented editor as it supports current web design much better than a text-based version. But Gutenberg seems to be full of idiosyncrasies and outright bugs that make using it much more complicated and time-consuming than necessary. I regularly have to switch back to Classic to be even able to edit my posts because some glitch in Gutenberg thinks it finds errors in pages it just uploaded (and that it will consider OK again a few hours later – I talk about embedding problems here). Arranging blocks also works worse than in most other web editors. Good idea, poor implementation. Could have been the biggest boost for WP but for me, as it is, it falls flat.
