Disappointed

  • I was very hopeful to be able to work on my website behind the scenes without the other one being taken down. After installing theme switcha and activating the new theme, every visitor could see what I was working on which defeated the whole purpose of the plug in. Now it is possible that I did something wrong but that is because there are no clear instructions on how to use this plug in.

    Hi Heather, thank you so much for the feedback. And yes you are correct, whenever you activate a theme via the Themes screen in the WP Admin Area, that theme will be the one that is publicly displayed. That’s why, with Theme Switcha, you don’t make any changes via the Themes screen; rather, you just visit the plugin settings and click on whichever theme you want to view privately.     User error should not warrant a 1-star review. Theme Switcha couldn’t be any more simple to use. Click on the desired theme within the plugin’s Settings panel and you’re instantly launched into a new cookied session within a new tab. What’s so difficult?
