Disappearing meta tag content

  • Hi Marcus,

    Thank you for creating/supporting this plug in. I installed the Meta Tag Manager and attempted to add three meta tags to my site. After clicking the “Save Changes” button, the meta name seems to have saved, but the content says, “…/”

    What am I doing wrong? Is the content saved and simply not displayed?

    hi, a few questions:

    1. is this for a single page/post or CPT?
    2. can you show me a screenshot(s) of one of these meta tags before you save it?
    3. does it happen if you try to save only one tag?
    4. also, have you tried saving your tags with other plugins disabled and/or using a default WP theme temporarily?

    Hi Marcus,

    Thank you so much for your response. Guess what? The plug in is working now. I’m not sure what changed over the weekend, but my content is now being saved. I took your #3 advice and added one tag at a time. Not sure if that’s what fixed it or something else.
