Disappearing images in posts when saved

Since yesterday, from about 4pm UK time, I haven’t been able to ‘keep’ images in my posts when I save. The images, both uploaded via media gallery and via code URL, first appear to be fine, but disappear after previewing or saving the post.

This is not only happening to me, but to some of my friend’s WP blogs too. Is this a glitch in www.remarpro.com or is it more sinister?
