Disappearing Images in different templates

Hello everyone,

I just noticed this odd problem? (Or maybe it’s normal behaviour I don’t like?) with my blog.

Images display fine on the front page. However, in search results, the posts are displayed without images.

The blog is here.

But for example if you run the site search against a keyword, the results come back with no images.
https://www.japannewbie.com/japanese_ads/index.php?s=tea

Is this normal?

Is there anyway I could make the images also show up in the search results?
