I’m working with a client who uses Pods for scheduling group hikes. One of the fields for Hike Time was recently edited to add some additional times to the list of selectable times for a hike. After editing and saving, that field hs disappeared from the list of fields in Pods Admin! Where did it go? Why did it disappear? When we look at the actual public-facing form for scheduling a hike, the selectable times are all there (including the new times that were added) but if we want to edit this field again, it is no longer findable in the list of fields in Pods Admin in the Dashboard.

I saw a similar post from half a hear ago, where the suggested solution was to Clear Pods Cache. Tried that, and it doesn’t seem to solve this issue.

We actually have another field which also appears on the form but is no longer listed in the list of Fields – Hike Date. We have no immediate need to edit this Field, but it also is missing from the list of Fields.

Hope you can help us figure out what’s happening here.

Is it possible the list of Fields in Pods Admin can only display a certain number of fields and no more? It currently shows 19 fields. Actual count of fields should be 21 (including the missing Date and Time fields).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @oakleystudio

There is no real limitation for the number of fields other than performance.
What is your setup for these fields? Could it be that these are defined through PHP as well? Maybe in a custom plugin or theme?

    Cheers, Jory
