Disappeared images in double language site
-
Hi,
I need your help to fix a big issue. After using your plugin WebP Converter for Media, a lot of images are disappeared in portugues version of my articles. I also deactivated and removed it, but doesn’t work.
You can see the difference between the 2 versions here:
ITALIAN: https://www.wanderlustintravel.com/it/le-cose-imperdibili-da-vedere-a-salvador-de-bahia-in-brasile/
PORTUGUESE: https://www.wanderlustintravel.com/pt/o-melhor-da-bahia-o-que-fazer-em-salvador/So, what can I do to show again the pictures in portugues version?
Regards

Thank you for your message.
Can you describe your problem further? Please send screenshots. I went to your website and I don’t see any problems.
Hi @mateuszgbiorczyk ,
thank you for your reply.
The problem is that once I have used your plugin, in the portuguese version of the articles of my web site, there a lot of pics not showed.
See these screenshot:
Italian version: https://prnt.sc/u5v1vx (with pics before the Youtube embed video)
Portuguese version: https://prnt.sc/u5v2ts (no pics before the Youtube embed video)Other example here:

PORTUGUESE: https://www.wanderlustintravel.com/pt/o-melhor-da-bahia-o-que-fazer-em-salvador/Even if I deactivate your plugin, the pics are not showed anymore. How can I fix it?
Regards
Marc@marcsellier unfortunately, I do not know how I help you. The images that you would like to see are not in the HTML code. The plugin does not do any operation that modifies the HTML code.
Why do you think this plugin caused the problem?
@mateuszgbiorczyk I think it’s caused by your plugin because my web site worked well till I used your plugin. Any suggestion?
@marcsellier unfortunately not. I have never encountered such a problem, no user has ever reported it. I would love to help you, but I have absolutely no idea.
Oh ok, thank you anyway…
I am very sorry. As I wrote, the plugin does not modify the HTML code. When the plug is turned off problems still have not disappeared, so I really do not see a problem here in the plug.
The plugin generates files in WebP format and adds rules to the .htaccess file. It does not modify the original files. When you remove a plug-in, it removes WebP files and rules from the .htaccess file. It does not leave any traces.
If you uninstall the plugin and still have problems, I do not really see a reason to believe that plug something broke. The more so as no one has reported similar problems before.
Ok, understood.
